With your train tickets to Mannheim, a train to Mannheim Hauptbahnhof Railway Station will take you right into the centre of Mannheim, as the station is located in the central Quadrate district, avoiding the occasional heavy traffic that slows down travel by road. The Wasseturm in Friedrichsplatz is considered to be the exact centre of Mannheim and it is only a few minutes on foot from the railway station, set in an elegant city square near the shopping district and a great place for photos.
