Toyota car hires in Prague

Run! Don’t walk! Las Vegas location. They force you to pay $30 per day for their insurance, after you have to take (2) shuttle buses from the airport. They know once you’re at their location you’re trapped and it would be very inconvenient to take the shuttle bus back to the main rental car location to go with a different company. After they force you to pay for their insurance literally any other rental car company would be cheaper, and much more convenient, without having to take multiple shuttle buses from the airport. Also, plan on blowing at least an extra hour after you get off your flight before you get into a rental car, same goes for drop off, you need to plan on being at their location at least 1 hour sooner than if you rented from a company at the main car rental location, without having to take multiple shuttles. Never again!

I had to leave early in the morning and there was not a 24 hour shuttle Unless I paid significantly for it

The shuttle was slow. The store was filthy. They said they couldn’t use my Apple credit card for the deposit. Even though it’s a valid credit card. Then wouldn’t take my debit card. Waste of time.

This service is not at the airport, but is 12 minutes away.. The lines were long at the rental desk. Took almost an hour to get car. Then there were multiple hidden fees they increased the cost of the car, finally- we had to extend 4 hours bc of a change in flight. They charged us $153 for that change, don’t be taken in by low prices in beginning- this place is a ripoff

The access to the rental place is not well marked, cars are examined in semi-darkness of the garage. Communication with the staff could be better.

Good car ( Golf ) , good price, relatively long pick up time and horror story with car return. It's different location than other 10 or so rental companies and completely unmarked. I was driving around airport several times asking several people ( no luck ) ... If you use Budget at Prague make sure you make some research/ take notes before returning your car.

Processes for both pickup (Prague Train Station) and dropoff (Salzburg airport) were not clear or well-labeled. Took too much time sorting that out. Car was OK but I really wanted the smaller sedan that I reserved and not the larger SUV that I got "upgraded" to. Otherwise the car was clean and like-new, so that was good. Overall an OK experience, but I've had better with Budget in the past.
