When making the reservation, the pickup location was listed as the Naples airport. When the confirmation came through, the pick up was at a different location. Fortunately, the airport Avis honored the reservation and provided a car.

The pick-up office at the Naples airport closed at 18.00. The Subbary I picked up next day had a sign on the window "Tire problem". No problem said the manager. We had to fill up one tire every day for five days. Back to the office at Avis Rental airport Naples. Waiting half a day for a new car.

3rd party bookers (like Kayak) are not completely integrated with inventory on the ground held by the rental car companies. This was a problem for me (and others in line at the counter). I appreciate the referral on a consolidated search, but to avoid problems, I'd much rather book the reservation directly through the rental car company.

We booked online where we were given options of pick up times ALL day. Just to be sure there was no error I called the day prior to pick up and I was ASSURED there woudl be a van for our family of 7 including an infant and grandparents to go to Disney when we arrived mid afternoon Upon arrival at 305 (we told them on phone call we would pick up mid afternoon) the office was closed!!!!! No one ONCE told us online or during a personal call that the office would be closed at 3 on a Saturday!! Can you imagine our frustration???

I booked a pick-up, received confirmation and payed for additional insurance only to receive a phone call from Enterprise that they didn’t have a vehicle for me to pick up. Outrageous! I will never try to use them again.

I made the reservation through KAIAK. It showed that HERTZ had the car I needed. I bought $11.00 insurance for this lease. Hertz didn't have the car, but I still had the $11.00 debited from my bank account. KAIAK and HERTZ - BAD COMBINATION. If you want to work together, keep your inventory updated at least hourly!!!!
