What is the loyalty program for Etihad Airways?
Etihad Guest is the loyalty program for Etihad Airways, which offers unique rewards across four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Depending on the tier, members receive a range of benefits including priority check-in and boarding, on board Wi-Fi discounts, fast track immigration and excess baggage allowance. Silver, Gold and Platinum members also enjoy access to exclusive lounges within the Etihad network. Members can earn miles with Etihad Airways flights and inflight duty free purchases, as well as spending with non-airline partners. Accumulated miles can be used to book Etihad Airways flights or to redeem products in the Reward Shop, including a range of electronics, beauty products and travel accessories. You can also turn miles into cash with the Visa Reward Card. If your family travels regularly, an Etihad Guest family membership enables families of up to eight people to pool miles and redeem rewards for Etihad Airways reservations.
How much luggage can you carry on Etihad Airways?
If you’re flying Economy, you can bring up to 23kg of checked baggage, as well as 7kg of cabin baggage and a personal item, such as a handbag. Business Class passengers can bring up to 40kg of checked baggage, up to two cabin bags and a personal item. First Class passengers are allowed to have up to 50kg of checked baggage. Depending on the tier, Etihad Guest members can bring up to 20kg extra baggage for free. If you have extra luggage, you can add extra baggage to your Etihad Airways flight, although the cost depends on where you are flying to. Each item must not weight more than 32kg. Passengers can bring one set of golf clubs weighing up to 15kg for free. You can also bring sports equipment such as scuba diving gear, skis, snowboards, surfboards, fishing equipment and bicycles as part of your luggage allowance. Equipment must not exceed 299.72 cm.

Trained service animals are allowed on board all Etihad Airways flights. They must sit within your seat space and be on a leash at all times. Passengers can also bring a cat or dog on board Etihad Airways flights. One pet is permitted per passenger. Pet fees vary depending on the length of flight. Your pet must be placed in a travel carrier under your seat, or you can purchase an adjacent seat for them, and remain in their travel carrier for the duration of the flight. Pets must be at least 16 weeks old and must not weigh more than 8kg. You will need to carry dry pet food in a sealed container in your baggage. Falcons are also permitted on Etihad operated flights as part of your cabin baggage allowance, or as checked baggage.
