What is the loyalty program for Qatar Airways?
When you book Qatar Airways flights, you will be able to join the Qatar Airways loyalty program called the Privilege Club. Some of the benefits of being a club member are that you will qualify to earn Qmiles and be able to redeem award tickets bought on your Qmiles. You are first in line for cabin upgrades and are allowed extra luggage on your trip. To become a member, you need to be a minimum of 18 years old. Racking up Qmiles does not only mean you can book Qatar Airways flights for free, but you can also use them at Qatar partner hotels and car hire agencies. The Privilege Club has a tear system with increased benefits the closer to platinum you get. The club is free to join.
How much luggage can you carry on Qatar Airways?
If you are travelling on a regular ticket with Qatar, the basic luggage requirement is one check-in bag that must follow a maximum dimension. The dimension is calculated as length + width + height of the bag. The total of these dimensions is 157.48 cm. If you book an economy class ticket your maximum weight is 25kg, economy convenience Qatar Airways reservations allow you to travel with 30kg, and economy comfort will hold 35kg per passenger. If you are flying with your Privilege Club benefits card, you will be allowed an extra bag that goes up in weight by 5kg at each tier, starting at silver, moving on to gold and ending on the highest platinum. This extra bag starts at 20kg on the silver tier.
Can I fly with a pet on Qatar Airways?

They will be checked in as excess baggage and be charged according to excess baggage rates. Other more unusual or dangerous pets must be transported as cargo in the cargo hold. This is subject to space on board, and so it is recommended to book as early as possible so the airline can make provisions for the space. There is no limit to the number of animals you are allowed to check-in as cargo, however, that is restricted by space, size and weight.
