re the flight on delta from boston to NYC: at 3:30 a.m., the taxi left me off at delta, terminal A, for domestic flights, i.e., boston to NY. after sitting there in the dark for half an hour, i luckily spotted a woman with a tag and asked her is this the delta location where i get the 6 a.,m. flight to NY? she said, no, for delta connected to an ultimately international flight, you need to get to terminal E. so with very heavy luggage, and with no carts available, my son and I trudged probably 1.5 miles to get to terminal E. yes, there was a single sign saying delta international is interminal E, but that sign was not conspicuous at all, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSTED ON THE FRONT DOORS OF TERMINAL A. as for thelong el al flight: it was okay, though i was squeezed in a 3-seat row. i didn't watch anything at all on the screen, because even with ear phones, the noise from the plane's motor was so loud you coudn''t hear any movie dialoge. i was also disappointed that el al used so much plastic, in its food wrappings, etc. so much plastic waste as a result!
