Unfortunately, when you make ScotAirways reservations, you do not benefit from a frequent flyer program or a loyalty program to their customers, as the company closed in 2013 and merged into the team of Loganair. Loganair’s loyalty program, Clan Logan, provides uses points accumulated by travel on Loganair flights (previously ScotAirways). One-way journeys can earn up to 800 points. Your reward points can be turned into payment for future flights with the airline. If perhaps you have previous flights unregistered in your Clan Loganair Membership, you can claim these missing points for up to three months of past flights. Clan Logan has three loyal statuses: Fly, Fly Flex, and Fly Flex +. Fly provides 250 Clan points per flight, Fly Flex provides 400 points, and Fly Flex + provides 800 points. These can provide benefits both at the airport and on the plane. You have flexible bookings, fast-track security, and missed flight protection at the airport. On the plane, you have extra luggage, complimentary refreshments, and seat selection.
Luggage allowance in flights with ScotAirways now refers to Loganair regulations, as the company is now recognised as Loganair. Loganair allows you to bring cabin luggage as your personal item. Your cabin luggage must not weigh more than 6kg and cannot exceed the dimensions of 15.7 x 34.8 x 17.98 cm. Fly, Fly Flex, and Fly Flex+ passengers may bring a personal item alongside their cabin luggage. For checked luggage, you can bring up to three bags which must accumulatively weigh 15kg. Additional luggage is charged as excess luggage and will incur a small fine. If you’re travelling with a child, you can bring a pram and car seat alongside your 15kg bag. Kids over two can have a 15kg; however, a pram and/or car seat is included in their luggage. Passengers with Fly can have 15kg over many bags, Fly Flex can have 23kg over many bags, and Fly Flex+ customers can have 30kg over many bags and up to 25kg in one bag. You may also bring special luggage, such as sports equipment or musical instruments.
You may bring up to two pets (cat or dog) on flights with Loganair. The pets must be booked before travelling to ensure that the animals are not on the same flight as another family’s pets. Pets on Loganair flights (previously ScotAirways) travel in the hold. You may not bring any pets part of the brachycephalic breeds. Your container must be rigid and large enough for your pet to stand, turn around, and lie down naturally. Two pets may be in the same container, provided the container weighs less than 32kg, and the pets weigh around 10kg each. Pets under 12 weeks are not permitted to travel. The container must not exceed 89.92 x 69.85 x 74.93 cm.
