Malta MedAir does not currently provide a loyalty program for its passengers. This is because Malta MedAir is a small airline that prides itself in its services, to understand and anticipate their passengers' needs. Travel with Malta MedAir provides flexibility, professionalism and dedicated attention. To make up for the lack of a loyalty program, it provides all of its passengers with a high level of service.
Passengers on Malta MedAir flights are allowed two types of luggage: cabin and checked. Malta MedAir permits you to carry a personal item of 39.88 x 29.97 x 14.99 cm, in addition to your carry-on luggage. Your carry-on luggage must not exceed 39.88 x 54.86 x 24.89 cm and 10kg. Your checked luggage may measure up to 157.48 cm in total length, width and depth and weigh up to 23kg. Only one bag is permitted. Bags over this weight and these dimensions will incur an overweight or oversized fee. You may purchase an additional luggage allowance if required by contacting the airline. Other special types of luggage such as instruments or sporting equipment can be brought on board. Small musical instruments are permitted as part of your free carry-on luggage; however, medium to large instruments can be brought onboard if you purchase an additional seat. Sports equipment has a cheaper fee when booked online before the flight and a higher fee when booked at the airport.
When you book Malta MedAir flights, you may also bring your pets. There are two options to fly with your animals: in the cabin or as checked luggage. If brought into the cabin, the pet (up to two) must weigh no more than 10kg, including the container. Only cats and dogs can travel in the cabin. If you carry two pets, they must be of the same species. The container must fit under the seat in front of you and be large enough for your pet to sit, stand and turn around naturally. The container’s dimensions cannot exceed 39.88 x 35.05 x 19.81 cm and must be collapsable. Your pets need to have a health examination three days before flying, and you need to call the airline when making your Malta MedAir reservations for pet travel.
